Amid the constant ebbs and flows within their circle, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island ladies (and their partners) ended the summer by finding some peace against the beachy backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean on Block Island.
During their final al fresco dinner in the supersized Season 1 finale, the RHORI cast — including Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi — initially kept the drama churning with a “shady” game of “Clamshell Confessionals.” Ultimately though, the group activity sparked discussions that helped them all come together as a “solid” unit.
“The whole reason why I wanted to come here was for this exact reason, like this conversation here tonight,” Kelsey remarked. “We’ve been on kind of like separate pages at separate times. I feel like tonight we’re all on the same page here.”
Alicia, for her part, added, “I love you guys all for all different reasons. I could give you guys a love letter. I mean that from my heart.” And though Rulla declared that, despite “a lot of ups and downs,” it had been “an amazing summer,” the good vibes did not transition into the fall for her and husband Brian Pontarelli.

As you await the RHORI Season 1 reunion, find out why cameras picked back up on Rulla and her castmates a month later and get exclusive updates on what all of the ladies have been up to since filming wrapped.
Jo-Ellen Tiberi’s life after RHORI Season 1
While Jo-Ellen and her mom “continue to work on their relationship,” she and Rulla “have agreed to let bygones be bygones.” That said, Jo-Ellen “continues to communicate” with Brian’s “mistress,” according to her finale end card. In an exclusive interview with BravoTV.com, the RHORI ‘Wife envisioned what the future might look like for her and Rulla.
“I do think that Rulla and I could have a friendship definitely down the road,” Jo-Ellen shared. “I think she’s a nice person. I feel really horrible for what she’s going through and, you know, if she needs somebody to talk to, I would always be there.”

As for her own marriage, Jo-Ellen said that she and husband Gary Tiberi are still “doing awesome” today. “I think Gary loves the show more than I do,” she joked. “We watch together and he’s like, ‘Shh, be quiet, I’m trying to watch.’ He’s really funny. I think Gary is sometimes so awkward when he’s filming, but he definitely is enjoying it. I think he’s enjoying the attention. He likes it, and, you know, we’re happy.”
Finally, there was one last thing she wanted to set the record straight on: Her sister Jen “never dated” Gary. “I did not steal my sister’s boyfriend,” Jo-Ellen clarified. “People won’t let it go. They are not hooking up.”
Rosie DiMare’s life after RHORI Season 1
Though Kelsey said that she and Rosie ended Season 1 “in a solid place” after their heated drama, Liz observed that Rosie was “not looking very convinced” by her statement. According to Rosie’s end card, her friendship with Kelsey remains as “under construction” as her and husband Rich DiMare’s 5,000-square-foot home.
The couple is holding off on adding a nursery amid their major renovation project, however. As Rosie’s post-filming update further revealed, she has “no plans to have children,” even despite all of Rich’s “crooning” on the matter.
Liz McGraw’s life after RHORI Season 1
After making amends with Jo-Ellen in the season finale, Liz and Dolores Catania, meanwhile, “are high on launching their menopause gummies” this year. And though husband Gerry McGraw’s days of sport fishing are now over, he and Liz “scored a big catch.” Not only did Liz become a “Gigi” when her stepdaughter Brianna welcomed a baby girl, but she and Gerry also gained a son-in-law when Brianna recently got married.
On The Real Housewives of Rhode Island After Show, Liz opened up about being “obsessed” with her new granddaughter. “She is just pure love,” she gushed. “You feel that energy when she’s in your arms. Gerry’s addicted to it.”
Liz also said that she’s been “loving” her new role as a “Gigi,” adding, “We pop in, we pop out, we bring gifts, [and] we spoil.”
Kelsey Swanson’s life after RHORI Season 1
As Kelsey’s relationship with William “Bill” L’Europa “continues to grow,” so do her bills, because, according to her end card, “her ex is no longer paying her rent.” Luckily, Kelsey has since “learned how to write a check,” however.
“It’s good, it’s exciting, but also a definite change of lifestyle,” she previously told BravoTV.com of her life today. “I’m going from living in a 16,000-square-foot home to an apartment by myself. So, it’s definitely a change, but it’s exciting in all the best ways, too. The good outweighs the bad, really.”
As for Bill, she joked, “He’s very, very generous and kind and sweet — and probably loves me more than anyone I’ve ever met in my life, other than my parents.”
Ashley Iaconetti’s life after RHORI Season 1
Though Ashley “continues to rake in multiple brand deals on social media,” she hasn’t been able to “influence” husband Jared Haibon to let go of Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge just yet. Their lease is up this year, however, and Ashley revealed on the RHORI After Show where their plans for the business stand today.
“I think that if you had to ask us right now, we would say that we’re not gonna re-sign the lease,” Ashley admitted. “It’s just too much work and too little money.”
The mom of two added, “I don’t know if he’d ever do it again. I think he’d want to do it in a more traditional, like, restaurant way, instead of a coffee shop, because, like, there’s such little revenue to be had.”
Alicia Carmody’s life after RHORI Season 1
Following longtime fiancé Billy Kitsilis’ “fairytale” re-proposal in the RHORI finale, he and Alicia are finally “planning their wedding,” nine years after their initial engagement. On the professional front, Alicia “has taken more control over Pizza Mamma” and is also “working on a crack-ah line of her own.”
Since filming wrapped, Billy has also given Alicia a new engagement ring. “So that means maybe I’m gonna marry the guy,” she joked in an interview with BravoTV.com. “I have to. You know, I would die if he ever left me. I need him in my life.”
Referring to Billy as her “soul mate,” Alicia concluded, “But just like any relationship, we definitely have our issues.”
Rulla Nehme Pontarelli’s life after RHORI Season 1
Cameras picked back up on in October 2025, because, according to local news footage shown in the episode, Brian had pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. Rulla also reportedly filed a no-contact order against him. “Brian, unfortunately, was arrested for tracking me in my car,” she explained to several of her castmates. “And apparently, that falls under domestic violence in the State of Rhode Island. It’s considered like stalking.”
They’ve since weathered the storm, however. On the RHORI After Show, Rulla updated viewers that she and Brian are still together, and their marriage is currently “better than ever,” especially now that she’s fully confident that his affair is “in the past.”
As for which castmates Rulla is closest to today, she told BravoTV.com that she couldn’t name just one bestie. “Right now, and throughout the latter part of the season, I’ve been closest with Alicia, Ashley, and even Rosie,” she said. “We tend to kind of band together. I really do like everyone. It’s just I tend to spend more time with them.”
Now that their first season as Housewives has ended, don’t miss a sneak peek at all the drama still left to unpack in the RHORI reunion trailer.
