Who Is Christian Carmichael? Gia Giudice’s Boyfriend Dating Timeline

Gia and Christian first met during the summer of 2019, right before Gia’s freshman year at Rutgers University, at the Jersey shore. “I show up to this house. I had the best weekend of my life,” Gia explained during a March 2025 episode of her podcast, Casual Chaos. “Out of control. But it was so much fun.”

They attended a country music concert with their friends, which led to their first kiss. “And that was it,” Christian said. “We hung out the rest of the summer,” Gia added.

Gia and Christian have been dating since 2019, as they celebrate their anniversary every year in January. However, they did temporarily break up during Gia’s junior year at Rutgers. “Honestly, it was after my date night that it all went downhill. He was basically just immature. Very immature,” Gia explained during the podcast episode.

“The reason we broke up was because I was immature,” Christian agreed. “Basically, communication was horrible. I was always with my friends and I had no drive, you always said. I didn’t have my first job until I was 21…You hated that.”

Christian is an entrepreneur, according to his Instagram bio, and the owner of the New Jersey junk removal business, C4 Site Solutions.

Christian currently lives in New Jersey, but he does not live with Gia, who has her own apartment in Jersey City. He appeared on her podcast on Feb. 8, where he revealed that his business makes it hard for him to live with her. “We didn’t move in together because me and my brother started a junk removal company called C4 Site Solutions. We have this big dumpster. I wouldn’t be able to put it anywhere,” he explained.

However, he admitted to wanting to move in with Gia. “I hope eventually, yeah. I don’t know how long. I don’t have a time limit, but yeah,” he said. “I’d rather get a house, though, because for the work reason but that’s about it.”

Both Gia and Christian have talked about getting married in the future. Although they haven’t set a date for when they will get engaged, Christian has already thought about the proposal, admitting that he would like to do it on a “beach” surrounded by Gia’s family members, including her dad, Joe Giudice.

“Everyone would have to be there,” he said during the Feb. 11 podcast episode. “The Bahamas would be a good place…with, like, fireworks coming up.”

Gia and Christian have both agreed that they want kids. During the Feb. 8 episode of her podcast, Christian admitted that he wanted kids within the next few years. “I’ve told you a million times I want to be a young dad,” he told Gia. “You want to wait until you’re 30.”

“Listen, buddy, you have to do so many things before you have kids,” Gia replied. “You need to propose to me, we need to get married, we need to figure out our living situation. There’s a lot more steps.”

Gia’s mom, The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice, loves Christian just as much as Gia does. “My mom’s obsessed with him, literally,” Gia said during the March 2025 episode of the podcast.

“She’s the best,” Christian agreed.

“My mom loves Christian,” Gia reiterated. “But, you know, Christian honestly has an amazing relationship with everyone in my family.”

Christian briefly appeared on Next Gen NYC Season 1, which is currently streaming on Peacock, and will make appearances on Next Gen NYC Season 2 when it airs on Bravo on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT and the next day on Peacock. Gia spoke with Elite Daily in an interview published ahead of the Season 2 premiere, where she opened up about Christian’s future appearances on the show. “Now he’s on Next Gen all the time,” she said. “Everyone loves him. I can’t go anywhere without them asking, ‘Where’s Christian?'”
