Georgia McCann’s personal life and career have been heavily discussed on Next Gen NYC Season 2. The NYC native isn’t afraid to take risks and be herself, and viewers will get to see more of that this season as the resident party expert navigates her friendships and dating life.
Per her Season 2 Bravo bio, “After a transformative year marked by personal challenges, Georgia returns to New York with a renewed sense of purpose. Focused on building a more stable future, she shifts her energy away from party planning to launch a cleaning brand, but recent betrayals within the friend group have made some of her relationships messy.”
Read on to learn more about her upbringing, her parents, her career, her dating life, and her connection to the Next Gen NYC cast.
Who are Georgia McCann’s parents?
Georgia’s parents are not public figures, and her father passed away when she was “young.” She opened up about her family in an interview at Bravo HQ during Next Gen NYC Season 1. “My parents are the opposite of the public eye. And they do like, mesothelioma law, from asbestos cases,” she explained.Â
She continued, sharing more about her parents during Next Gen NYC Season 1, Episode 5. “My parents grew up between poor and middle class. They both became lawyers and started their own law referral company together. The company was doing really, really well, and then 9/11 happened … I think that really derailed my father. I think it triggered a major PTSD response in him,” she explained during the episode. “So, he kinda, like, went off the rails in a sense, and ended up leaving my family and moving upstate. That’s where he ended up dying.”
What does Georgia McCann do for a living?
Georgia is a “brand and events creative specialist” who runs Channel 1, which does “production, creative consulting, and strategy for events.” She is also coming out with her own collection of poems, Blue Afternoon, in August.
She admitted to Bravo in 2025 that she would like to “diversify” her career. “I love doing parties, and I’ve been doing it for the last couple of years, but I want to see myself getting back into screenwriting, which is what I went to college for, and maybe dabble in fashion if the right opportunities arrive. I have a lot of interests outside of just what my career has been up until this point, so I would love to diversify.”
On Season 2, Episode 3 of Next Gen NYC, Georgia shared that she was pivoting away from the party-planning business in order to launch a line of cleaning products called “Yuck!”Â
She later revealed exclusive details about her new brand on the Next Gen NYC After Show, sharing, “For me, it was really like, ‘OK, what would be interesting to work on? What hasn’t really been done in sort of the influencer rebrand space? What can I do that I actually would want to improve on?’ And then I was like, ‘What about cleaning?'”
She then shared more information about a four-in-one product she plans to launch. “Instead of like three, four bottles, you’re using one,” she explained. “It’s, like, glass cleaner, all surfaces, anti-bacterial, et cetera, so, it’s, like, cleaning products for messy people, cleaning products for lazy people.”

She hard-launched their relationship on Instagram in October 2025, taking to social media where she posted a photo of them kissing. “Prez and I are one week apart, same year,” Georgia explained in a confessional in the Season 2 episode. “Born in the same city. He’s a New Yorker, which, I think, is very important to me.”
What Georgia McCann has said about her split from ex-boyfriend, Omar Zaki
Georgia was previously dating Omar Zaki, who was investing in her club idea, “Club Club.” They dated throughout Next Gen NYC Season 1 before their breakup during Christmas 2024.Â
He remains a topic in Georgia’s life in Season 2 of Next Gen NYC as she navigates life post-breakup. “I don’t think I was as transparent as I could’ve been about how traumatizing the last relationship I was in was,” Georgia shared in Episode 4. “The breakup coincided with, like, me not knowing what I wanted to do, like, with, you know, not the rest of my life, but the next like two to three years of my life.”
