Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s deteriorating marriage has been a focus during Summer House Season 10, and the couple is in hot water once again in the above preview of Episode 15 (airing Tuesday, May 12 at 8/7c on Bravo), during the aftermath of an emotional outburst from Kyle.
The preview clip picks up in the aftermath of Kyle’s outburst during Lindsay Hubbard’s second annual “freedom dinner.” Later in the evening, he attempts to apologize to Amanda, but the conversation goes left.
“You don’t want to say anything? You’re just going to go out?” Amanda asks Kyle as he approaches her in the closet.
“I’m sorry for saying what I said,” he says. “I’m sorry for saying ‘F—k you.’ I’m sorry for ruining dinner. I’m sorry for ruining the night.”
But Amanda tells him he’s missing the point. “That’s not what you should be sorry for,” she replies.
Kyle then adds, “I’m sorry I lost my s—t. I’ve been at the breaking point all summer long.”
“And I haven’t?” Amanda answers before pointing out, “You don’t express yourself at all unless it’s screaming.”
As Kyle sighs, he answers, “That’s not true, but okay,” and walks away to conclude the preview.
What sparked Kyle Cooke’s emotional breakdown during Summer House Season 10, Episode 14
In case you need a refresher, fireworks erupted during the May 5 episode, after Amanda revealed that Kyle was “going to Vegas” as part of signing a new manager to advance his DJ career.
Lindsay questioned whether Kyle had had a conversation with Amanda about his decision, and accused him of behaving as though “DJing is more important than having a family.”
That’s when Kyle declared, “She is not ready to have a kid, okay? You can blast me all you want…Do not blame this on me.”

As his anger grew, Kyle admitted he’d felt “under attack…all summer long.” As he grew more agitated, he shot over the table to Amanda, “F–k you” (for the second time this season). The comment caused the other cast members to jump to Amanda’s defense, and she eventually tried to shut the conversation down, telling everyone, “Alright, this is not a table conversation, because he can’t handle it.”
But Kyle continued to vent that he was “losing [his] mind,” and that the cast didn’t have any “f–king idea” what he and Amanda were dealing with in the privacy of their marriage. The May 5 episode ended on a cliffhanger as Kyle stormed out the front door, followed by several other cast members.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula recount issues in their marriage
This wasn’t the first time Kyle dropped the “F bomb” at Amanda during Season 10. During Summer House‘s March 24 episode, Kyle and Amanda argued, and he accused her of not being “supportive” of him before shouting “F–k you!” at her.
He blamed his actions on their worsening marriage. “There’s no excuse to, you know, drop the F-bomb and say ‘F you’ to your wife,” Kyle admitted to producers. “But, like, I’m only human. I can only go so long getting the cold shoulder, you know, getting, like, the small-but-steady jabs. I used to think it was all in my own head, until I’ve watched some of these summers back.”
Amanda shared her thoughts with producers as well. “I know that it’s wrong, the way that he speaks to me,” she said at the time. “I’m fully aware of that. I’m not OK with it. I just know that having a conversation about it isn’t gonna go anywhere.”

Their problems stacked up as the summer went on, with Kyle ominously declaring during the April 21 episode that when Amanda decided to skip a weekend at the house, he was “for the first time, in a long time, having fun.”
“Feeling a little more light-hearted, a little like myself — and it’s because my wife’s nowhere to be seen,” he shared. “That is a rude awakening, and it makes me realize just how effed we really are.”
Another point of contention for Kyle: a lack of communication. “I will say, my text thread with Amanda is perhaps one of the most depressing text threads of all time,” he told a producer during the April 28 episode before reading off a series of unanswered messages that he’d recently sent his wife.
Their issues culminated in Kyle discovering Amanda was considering a trial separation during the May 5 episode, and learning she had discussed it with multiple housemates, including Ciara Miller.
