Why Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 Charter Guest Left

A familiar charter guest boarded M/Y Akira One during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11, Episode 3, and although Captain Sandy Yawn was happy to host Johnny Damon again, she and the crew were less than thrilled with the drama between two of Johnny’s other guests. The situation got so bad between Josef and Josef’s girlfriend, Adis, the latter even requested to leave the boat just minutes into the charter.

How to Watch

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes stream next day on Peacock.

“Where’s the next port, by the way?” Adis asked deckhand Joe Bradley, as the yacht headed for an anchoring near Uvala Spilice, Croatia. But when Joe informed her, “We’re not going to be docking anywhere,” she announced she wanted to depart.

“I’m getting the f—k off the boat. I’ll literally, like, jump off the boat,” she told him during the Below Deck Mediterranean June 22 episode.

Joe was forced to share the news with Sandy, who agreed, “We need to get her off.”

As Josef learned of his girlfriend’s plans, he asked chief stew Aesha Scott and the crew to “expedite” her departure. “Okay, let her go,” he conceded. “I’m not dealing with that f—king crap.” He later told the other charter guests, “I pay her $12,500 a month. She’s gone. It’s over. She’s back on her own.”

The drama between Josef and Adis started before they even boarded Akira One in the June 22 episode. As the guests were walking down the dock, cameras captured Josef complaining, “She doesn’t want to be next to me. What a dumbass,” while Adis responded, “I’m about to lose my s—t.”

Johnny even joked to his wife, “Are we the only sane ones here?” and she agreed, “Seems like it.”

The tension continued as the guests took their shoes off in order to tour the yacht with Aesha.

“Adis, get the f—k away from me,” Josef muttered to Adis, who answered, “Love that.” Josef shot back, “Love it too, a—hole,” and Adis responded, “Damn. Why did I do this to myself?”

Their bickering was immediately clocked by the crew, as bosun Nathan Gallagher mentioned to Joe, “This’ll be awkward, I think.” Stew Kayley Smith also noticed the problematic behavior, and mentioned to stew Kat Johnston, “One of the guys got so angry,” prompting Kat to observe of Josef, “You’ve been here for like five minutes.”

Meanwhile, Josef continued his rants to his close friend Johnny, complaining of Adis, “I pay for her apartment, but she doesn’t want to be seen with me? She’s obviously not that smart.”

While Adis told her friends, “I really wanna go. He’s a jerk,” Josef discovered her in a cabin, and explained why he was upset.

“Do you understand the message she delivered to me?” he asked the group. “‘Don’t touch me.’” He added, “She told me to stay away from her on the boat,” and to Adis, he noted, “You can go f—k yourself.”

He continued as Adis fled the cabin, “I’m worth $500 million. I have jets. I’m a pretty good looking guy.”

Out on the deck, some of the other guests filled Aesha in on the argument. “So Joe, he was being obnoxious at the restaurant before we came here. And [Adis] was like annoyed. When we were walking on the boat she didn’t want to walk with him,” Johnny’s wife, Michelle, explained.

As Adis finally left the yacht, Josef declared to the other guests, “Don’t feel bad for me. I’m officially single.”

Adis wasn’t the only one to find herself in an argument with Josef in the opening minutes of the charter. When Nathan was forced to ask Josef three times to move inside as the yacht left the dock, Josef hurled insults at him.

“Bro, I moved off the rail, now you’re telling me to move in, like I need more instructions. Do you want me going downstairs center?” he asked during the June 22 episode. When Nathan answered, “Captain can address it if you’re not happy with it,” a furious Josef shot back, “No, I’m gonna f—king rip your face off.”

Nathan complained to producers of Josef’s behavior. “Unless he wants to put on the f—king uniform, put his drink down, [and] become a deckhand, get off the f—king deck,” he said.
