Lindsay Hubbard found herself in an uncomfortable position amid Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s marital drama while filming Summer House Season 10.
While en route to a group beach day during Episode 14, Ciara Miller recapped her meetup with Amanda the previous week in New York City for some of the cast, along with the fact that she had suggested she and Kyle test out a trial separation. In that time, she said that Kyle and Amanda could still go to couples therapy and “still date each other,” while working on their marriage. Lindsay, for her part, had some mixed feelings on the matter.
“Still date? I don’t think it sounds like they even currently date,” she weighed in before adding, “I will say, I don’t disagree with that advice or that idea. But if I heard of another couple that were married, and the wife got an apartment for a month, just to, like, get space from her husband, I would be like, wow… It feels like that is kind of like a last-ditch-effort move.”

In a confessional, Lindsay further explained why she was so conflicted on the matter.
“It’s like, look, I think that Amanda deserves more than she’s been getting,” she said. “I also love Kyle, and I’ve known Kyle more than anybody in this house, including Carl [Radke]. And as much as he’s in the wrong, he has feelings too, and it just… I cannot help but, like, go full-blown mama bear mode and be like, ‘What is going on? And how can I help? Because we can’t keep doing this.'”
How Lindsay Hubbard sparked drama between Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula on Summer House
Later in Summer House‘s May 5 episode, Lindsay hosted her second annual “freedom dinner” during which the cast went around the table to name something they’d lost and found recently. When it was Kyle’s turn to speak, Lindsay, who’d already thrown shade at his DJ career while speaking to the chef she’d hired, answered for him.
“Kyle lost his wedding ring, but he found a DJ career,” she chimed in, giving two thumbs up.
Jesse Solomon, meanwhile, brought up that Kyle was signing with a new manager and asked about his future plans “with the DJ and music stuff.” That’s when Amanda revealed that Kyle is “going to Vegas,” sparking several more questions from the group.
After Kyle shared his plans to treat DJing as a career, rather than a hobby, Lindsay asked, “Did you ask Amanda before you made this decision or did you make the decision on your own? Did you have a conversation, as a partner, with your wife, before you decided?”

Kyle went on to explain that he hadn’t signed the contract yet, and that he and Amanda would be having a one-on-one conversation before he did. Still, Lindsay continued, “Where I get confused is you guys are married, you guys have a partnership. You are supposed to be aligned in that partnership about what your future goals are together as a family, as a unit, as a team. … You took on this career without talking to your wife about it. And now you’re continuing to progress it.”
Lindsay also accused Kyle of prioritizing his career over starting a family with Amanda. From there, an explosive argument ignited, and the episode ended with Kyle launching into an expletive-filled rant and storming out the front door, as a “To Be Continued” graphic appeared on screen.
Lindsay Hubbard teased an “intense” Summer House Season 10 reunion
With Season 10 already documenting the final weekend of the summer, there is sure to be plenty of drama to unpack at the reunion. In fact, Lindsay said as much during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“I’ve been on Summer House for 10 years, and we’ve done these reunions for nine of them,” she noted to host Andy Cohen during WWHL‘s April 28 episode. “And honestly, this was one of the most intense, dramatic reunions that I’ve ever experienced.”
Offering one more subtle tease, Lindsay added, “We were there for a very long time.”
All three have also been confirmed as cast members on In The City, which premieres on May 19. In the meantime, find out how Linsday, Kyle, and Amanda previewed the upcoming Summer House spin-off.
