An Idaho woman attacked another female in a Hobby Lobby parking lot, smashing her face into the victim’s car repeatedly — breaking her nose and septum in three places — after claiming the victim did not use her turn signal and cut her off, cops say.

Jaydena Simpson, 30, has been charged with aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon or instrument after allegedly attacking the victim in a Hobby Lobby parking lot in Ammon.

Court documents obtained by East Idaho News this week describe how Simpson set upon the other woman and threatened her with a tire iron, in addition to assaulting her.

Deputies were called to the Hobby Lobby parking lot around 7 p.m. on July 6 after witnesses reported hearing and seeing a fight.

Both Simpson and the victim had pulled in after the turn-signal incident, which the victim said caused Simpson to slam on her brakes to keep the victim from passing her. The woman said Simpson claimed the victim almost hit her, according to the court documents.

While wielding a tire iron, Simpson allegedly told the woman she would “f— your car up and f— you up.” The victim was trying to get back into her vehicle when Simpson rushed up behind her and repeatedly slammed the woman’s head against her car, the court documents say.

Witnesses were yelling and honking their horns at Simpson, trying to get her to stop, according to the court documents. She left the scene after the alleged attack.

According to East Idaho News, cops arrived and found the victim bleeding with visible injuries in the parking lot. A hospital CT scan showed that she had broken her nose and septum, the outlet reports.

Simpson was released on her own recognizance following her arrest. She is due in court on Aug. 19 for a preliminary hearing.
