A woman in Tennessee fatally stabbed a man in the neck during an argument before declaring, “I hope you die there,” authorities say.
Iesha Thomas, 31, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Cameron Young, according to court records reviewed by Law&Crime. The defendant is being held in the Shelby County Jail without bond.
The victim’s age is unclear.

Thomas and her sister arrived at an apartment complex on the 200 block of West Red Oak Drive in Memphis, Tennessee, on Tuesday at about 12:30 a.m., the sister said in an affidavit of complaint filed in the case. Thomas and Young “began to argue” and entered an apartment.
“Young then exited the apartment bleeding from the neck,” the sister added. Thomas followed him outside.
Someone called 911, and the Memphis Police Department responded. Arriving officers said they found Young “lying on the ground, bleeding from his neck and shoulder area.”
When investigators asked him what happened, he reportedly said that he was stabbed by a man in a red shirt and black pants at a Shell station. Young was brought to an area hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
His death was ruled a homicide.
Investigators looked at video from the apartment complex. According to the court document, it showed Young “arguing with an unknown female wearing all black.”
The victim entered the apartment referenced by the suspect’s sister, followed by a woman, before he exited a few seconds later, the affidavit states. He could apparently be heard saying, “She stabbed me.”
“I hope you die there,” the “unknown” woman later identified as Thomas said, according to authorities. She allegedly added, “Get the f— away from me b—, or I’ll stick you again.”
Police said the sister also identified the woman in black as Thomas, who was arrested and booked into jail.
The defendant is scheduled for a bail review hearing and arraignment on Friday.
