The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, rang in the new year separately as they continue to navigate their separation. Still, they entered 2026 with people near and dear to their hearts.
First, Dorit attended a lavish bash in Paris, France, with French businessman and Hermès exec Michael Coste. As the diamond-toting mom of two said in a New Year’s Day Instagram post with a photo of her and Michel posing together, “Happy New Year from my happy place,” adding a clinking-glasses and kiss-blowing emoji. Michael shared a post of his own from Paris’ restaurant Siena, including a snap with Dorit and The Real Housewives of Miami’s Alexia Nepola wearing formal black and dripping with jewels.
On her Instagram Stories, Dorit shared a look at the black-tie gala, filled with sparklers, confetti cannons going off, and people dancing on tables. “Here’s to new beginnings and beautiful moments ahead,” Dorit wrote. She added, “Lighting up 2026.”
Meanwhile, PK seemingly had a relatively low-key holiday, as seen in a black-and-white photo of himself and his father, Kenny Kemsley, sitting at a small table. Wrote PK, “2025 NYE with my dad means everything to me. Grab your family. We just never know how long we have. Happy New Year to you all.”

In the current Season 15, Dorit has been dealing with life after separation as she raises her and PK’s shared children, 12-year-old son Jagger Kemsley and 9-year-old daughter Phoenix Kemsley. Beyond the emotional fallout, Dorit has shared the financial challenges of their split, explaining on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show that PK allegedly refused to pay “the lion’s share” of their finances.
As Dorit shared in Episode 3, “I have yet to discover everything … and I can tell you I’m in the unknown.”

Speaking of “new beginnings,” Dorit’s first-ever memoir, Unburdened: A Memoir, is slated for an April 7, 2026, release date. The title, as it turns out, mirrors her Season 15 tagline, “I’m unfiltered, unbothered, and finally unburdened.”

“Unburdened tells Dorit’s glamorous and deeply personal story — a story of transformation, resilience, and the unshakable power of self-love,” according to the publisher. “For fans and new readers alike, this memoir will offer an intimate look at the woman behind the camera: a mother, a survivor, a dreamer, and a woman reclaiming her voice.”
As Dorit explained to People in September, writing the book was a way of coping with her very public split from PK. As she put it, “This book is one of the most personal and meaningful projects I’ve ever taken on, and I can’t wait for you to step into my world, my story, and my truth.”
Learn why Dorit chose to stick it out with PK, even though she “could have walked away a long time ago.”
