Given Andy Cohen’s decade-long history with Erika Jayne on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, he could confidently point out a major first that he noticed from her during Season 15.
Amid a discussion about Erika’s intense argument with Dorit Kemsley in Italy during Part 3 of the RHOBH reunion, Andy remarked, “Something that really struck me was how hard Erika was crying at the table after [Dorit] left. I’ve never, in 10 years of her being on the show, seen her like that.”
That’s when a clip rolled showing Erika tearfully explaining to the group that Dorit and Kyle Richards “have protected me and helped me, and the three of us are very tight.”

Back on the reunion stage, Andy wondered if watching that scene had made Dorit, who had abruptly exited the dinner amid the clash, “step back and think” about their bond. “As much as she lashed out at you, she clearly was in pain about your friendship,” the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host told Dorit.
“I would say, Andy, had the situation not happened with the cover release, it would’ve,” Dorit explained, referring to Erika skipping her book event. “But, you know, she didn’t even bother to text me, call me, let me know.”

At the top of RHOBH‘s May 7 episode, Erika revealed exactly what Dorit said that left her feeling “so hurt” during the aforementioned dinner in Italy. By Erika’s account, no amount of name-calling could have struck her as intensely as Dorit accusing her of lashing out in order to “save her job” did.
“Out of everything else, that was the one thing that turned me completely out,” Erika said. “That touches such a tender point in all of us when you’re trying to be open and vulnerable, when you’re trying to tell your story.”

Dorit, meanwhile, further referred to how Erika had “unleashed” on her, asking for more details on what specifically made her “explode like that.”
“I’ll tell you when I f–kin’ lost it,” Erika answered, before referencing a “beyond” hurtful remark Dorit made involving Bozoma Saint John. “You said, ‘Boz has supported me more than anybody in this group.'”
In response, Dorit admitted that she could “understand that,” taking into consideration how she’d also felt “very hurt” when Erika previously made a similar comment during Season 13.

With all that said, Andy asked Dorit if she wanted to apologize to Erika or say anything else, following her explanation. Though Dorit insisted that she’d already told Erika she was sorry, she issued another apology anyway, telling her, “Had you told me both of those things, I would’ve understood. And I’m sorry that I made you feel that way.”
As Erika saw it, however, the issues between her and Dorit “had been bubbling and building” prior to their blowup in Italy.
When the WWHL host eventually tried to get to the bottom of where the two might go from there, Erika answered first. “This is selfish of me, but I want the Dorit back that I know and I love,” she shared. “But she’s not here right now, so I’m good on a break.”
Dorit, for her part, fired back that she wasn’t really interested in investing her time in energy in friends who “only want to be around when things are good” anyway.
After some more back and forth between them, Erika added, “I love you, and we are friends, and I don’t deserve this, to be perfectly honest with you.”
Regardless, Dorit declared that she, too, was “drawing a boundary” with Erika, before eventually concluding, “I need a break.”
