SARASOTA, Fla. (TCN) — A TikTok influencer popular in the “looksmaxxing” space has been arrested on 15 counts of child pornography possession, authorities say.
According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by WWSB, the girlfriend of 18-year-old Mason Hull was looking through Hull’s phone when she allegedly found links to child sexual abuse material as well as purported evidence that he was selling such images.
When deputies arrived at his home, Hull allegedly admitted that he used the app Telegram to find child sexual abuse material. His phone was seized and authorities found that he had photos and videos of girls ages 6 to 10 being forced into sexual situations with adult men, WWSB reports.
Hull goes by “Hullo” on TikTok and amassed 350,000 subscribers as a “looksmaxxer,” WFLA reports. His content is reportedly popular among young men who want advice and to pay for services to improve their physical appearance. His account is now private.
Hull allegedly told interviewers that he sought out child sexual abuse material because he wanted to try something new, according to WFLA.
Hull was arrested and booked into jail on May 6, and a judge set his bail at $7,500 for each charge, for a total of $112,000, WFLA reports. He is scheduled to return to court on June 5 to be arraigned.
