Where Is Dylan Geick Now After Next Gen NYC Season 1?

Although Dylan Geick did not appear in the Next Gen NYC Season 2 premiere, he was still a hot topic of conversation during the episode as the cast members found themselves navigating the Big Apple without him.

How to Watch

Next Gen NYC premieres Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes stream next day on Peacock.

“I’m finding myself in this group in New York now,” Shai Fruchter, Dylan’s buddy, explained during the June 24 premiere. “It’s kind of like a weird thing.”

He went on to explain what happened to Dylan. “Last year, I was fully just friends with Dylan. We started hanging out, and there were [Next Gen NYC] cameras all around.”

Shai then revealed: “And then, Dylan left New York.”

Although Dylan has kept quiet about where he’s located now, he’s been busy posting about his travels on his social media. While he’s stayed mum on the details, he’s snapped pics everywhere from wooded areas and mountainous deserts, to sandy beaches.

On June 21, he shared a video presumably taken in Ibiza, where he seemed to be enjoying the local shopping and nightlife.

The self-proclaimed poet/artist has also shared himself in front of artwork and in front of statues and landmarks across Italy, while adding poetry to his Instagram posts.

A look back at Dylan Geick’s time on Next Gen NYC

Dylan opened up about his background during Next Gen NYC Season 1, and shared that he was born in Chicago, Illinois and “grew up very blue collar.” He revealed that he practiced mixed martial arts (MMA) before moving to wrestling, and even wrestled at the collegiate level for Columbia University in New York City, before he was forced to quit due to injury.

In addition to his friendship with Shai, you may recall Dylan was first introduced as the roommate of Charlie Zakkour during Next Gen NYC Season 1, but by Episode 6, Dylan had moved out.

“Dylan and I got along very well as roommates,” Charlie explained to producers at the time. “I just think that the housing situation is problematic. We’re very in each other’s space, in this tiny, tiny little midtown s—thole, so.”

“We are done, officially,” Charlie commented as cameras captured Dylan moving out.

Next Gen NYC’s Dylan Geick opens up about what he does for a living

Although he was labeled as a “poet/artist” by Next Gen NYC producers, Dylan, who also described himself as a “digital entrepreneur,” shared the other way he makes his money.

“Most of my money these days comes from OnlyFans,” he revealed during Season 1, Episode 2. He later added, he’d always “just made money on the internet” with “whatever the new app is.”

Charlie also described Dylan’s hustle to his father, Anwar Zakkour. “He like, uploads, like, sexy photos and leverages his muscles in photos,” Charlie shared, and added, “At a certain point, you just gotta respect it, you know?”

But Dylan opened up to VMAN Magazine in 2021 about his passion for writing, and revealed he’d published two books of his poetry: Early Works and I Have Been Bleeding.

“When people ask me what I do, I always say writer, I’ve always said that,” he shared with the outlet. “I self-published Early Works frantically, as soon as I discovered that poetry was a real thing. And since then, I think that I’ve always just lived by this sort of Hemingway [philosophy]– if you want to get better at writing, you can read and write, but you also gotta live.”

Dylan was shown playing the piano during Next Gen NYC Season 1, and shared with the outlet that it’s on his list of interests to explore.

“Music, definitely. And TikTok…I do think it’s a great platform for music discovery and artistic experimentation of freedom, honestly. So I probably will be on it and I probably will be exploring music more,” he revealed.
