The countdown is on for Dolores Catania’s son, Frankie Catania Jr., to get married! The Real Housewives of New Jersey son is set to marry his fiancée, Nicole Perricho, later this summer, and his parents could not be more excited about it. Dolores’ ex-husband and Frankie Jr.’s dad, Frank Catania Sr., took to Instagram recently, where he revealed that he was celebrating Frankie Jr. with some of the most important people in his life.Â
This includes the proud dad as well as Frankie Jr.’s sister, Gabby Catania’s fiancé, Mike Tallia; Dolores’ fiancé, Paulie Connell; and Paulie’s two sons, Brooklyn Connell and Kameron Connell. Nicole’s dad and her brother, Alfredo, were also in attendance, among other men. Everyone looked so happy as they stood next to Frankie Jr. in a restaurant, celebrating the start of his next chapter in life.
“Celebrating my son, [Frankie Catania Jr.] surrounded by the men who have been a part of his journey,” Frank Sr. wrote. “The countdown to ‘I do’ is on. Portugal, here we come.”
Dolores then took to the comments, where she expressed her own excitement for the upcoming nuptials. “Can’t wait for our special special day,” she added.
Dolores Catania opens up about Frankie Catania Jr.’s wedding plans
Dolores previously dished on the details about Frankie Jr.’s wedding in a March 2025 interview with Page Six‘s Virtual Reali-Tea, where she revealed that the couple would be getting married overseas. But, she revealed that they would be having a second celebration in New Jersey for more family members. “They want a destination wedding in Portugal,” she explained. “Yeah, so we’ll do that and then he’ll have to have something here because my family doesn’t leave Paterson [New Jersey], so not happening. I got them to New York, that was far enough. So it’s gonna be probably two weddings.”
Dolores most recently spoke with PEOPLE in January, where she confirmed that the wedding would be happening in early August. “Little Frankie and Nicole,” she said. “That’s gonna be in Portugal.”

Dolores is not only excited about the upcoming wedding, but she is also very excited about officially welcoming Nicole to their family. The mom of two took to Instagram on May 21, where she posted the sweetest tribute to Nicole, her “second daughter” and “Little Queen” on her birthday.
“You are beautiful beyond words, inside and out, and such a light in all of our lives,” Dolores wrote. “Thank you for bringing so much joy, laughter, love, and energy everywhere you go. You light up every room the second you walk in and everyone who knows you is better because of it. We are truly so blessed to have you and love you more than you will ever know!”
