Mark Anthony Gonzales arrested after for rubbing women’s feet as they slept’ A man has been detained after being accused of “foot fondling” without consent. On two separate days, Mark Anthony Gonzales is accused of breaking into two unnamed women‘s rooms at a luxury resort via open screen doors and rubbing their feet while they slept. According to reports, the occurrences took place at the Club Wyndham South Shore Hotel in Nevada between July 1 and July 3, 2023.
However, the 26-year-old was finally nabbed on Tuesday, August 1, at his home in Atwater, California. He has been pressed with two counts of burglary and two counts of battery charges, as per a statement by Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Nevada, which also stated that the suspect “will be held in the Merced County Jail with on a fugitive warrant with a bail of $50,000 until he is extradited back to Douglas County, Nevada.”

Who is Lake Tahoe Foot Fondler?
Gonzales is recognized as the ‘Lake Tahoe Foot Fondler’. He was reportedly apprehended using forensic methods. “DCSO Investigators learned Gonzales was known to local law enforcement in the Atwater/Merced County, California area and was the suspect of numerous crimes, including the theft of women’s shoes, trespassing, and sexual self-gratification during some of these incidents,” the official statement said. DCSO Investigators thought Gonzales’ crimes were becoming more serious.
Following the man’s arrest, Douglas County Sheriff Dan Coverley said, “I am extremely pleased that my Investigators were able to identify, locate, and arrest this individual. These types of crimes are especially alarming to a community, and being able to make an arrest allows the victims and community to feel safe again.”
