Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare Unaired Confrontation Details

Alicia Carmody and Rosie DiMare may have resolved their unexpected conflict on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island in record time, but there was actually more to the story than what was shown in Episode 4. Luckily, the ladies spilled all the unaired details from their heated confrontation on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island After Show.

Rosie began by briefly recapping how she had told Liz McGraw during the group’s visit to Rail Explorers that some people, namely Ashley Iaconetti, “can be intimidated” by her and that she “can be a little scary” sometimes. “She was totally fine while we were on the little machine,” Rosie recalled. “And suddenly, I’m like the worst person in the world for saying she’s scary.”

Just one day earlier, some of the cast had been discussing Liz’s “wrath” toward Kelsey Swanson. That’s when Alicia informed the group that Liz, whom she’d known since childhood, had “been like that her whole life.” She told the women, “We do all have to walk on eggshells with her, me included. She’s no bulls–t. I even get scared of her, and I don’t get scared of anybody.”

When the subject arose again during the subsequent group outing, however, Liz gave a different version of events. The drama erupted when Rosie revealed Alicia’s contrary comments about her.

“At Rail Explorers, Liz is saying this apology of, ‘I’ve never been like that before in my entire life, and this is, like, not like me at all,'” Rosie explained on the RHORI After Show.  “And so, yeah, like, I did say Alicia said you’ve always been like this, thinking maybe it was, like, a moment to self-reflect or, like, elaborate. I mean, I could have kept my mouth shut, too, so, like, there’s that, but…”

Though the explosive nature of Alicia’s reaction did not surprise her, the fact that she was upset all did, however, given what Rosie described as her “very nonchalant” description of Liz’s personality. “I knew Alicia had it in her ’cause, like, she can be really fiery,” Rosie elaborated. “I just didn’t think, like, acknowledging something she said the day before was, like, so deep.”

By Alicia’s recollection, Rosie’s eyes had lit up and “turned neon green” when she confronted her and claimed that she had “twisted [her] words” about Liz. “I don’t think that she realized what she was doing,” Alicia admitted on the After Show.

“I’ll tell you what pissed me the f–k off about Rosie,” she further remarked. “I said, ‘Yeah, she was always like this,’ in a way like she had a hard life, like kind of trying to explain Liz, like, without talking s–t. … I was trying to make Liz softer than what they were trying to [portray] her as. Rosie, the next day, took it… That’s when I lost my s–t. I don’t like someone twisting that. That’s f–ked up.”

Alicia continued, “To me, that’s a red flag, and bitch, you’re not gonna get away with that with me, bitch. You know what I mean? Don’t f–k with me.” She added, “I think that she was testing the waters, and then she was like, I am gonna dip my feet in. And it was the wrong f–kin’ pond. Not with me.”

Why Alicia Carmody forgave Rosie DiMare so quickly on RHORI

A self-described “sensitive gangster,” Alicia, meanwhile, owned that she truly did live up to her “flip-flop” nickname when she hugged it out with Rosie, just minutes after their argument reached a boiling point. At the time, all she really wanted was an apology, and when Rosie told her she was “really sorry,” Alicia was ready to move forward.

“I definitely have a temper. My mother always told me that. It’s, like, very loud,” she said on the After Show. “But when she apologized to me, I knew that she didn’t mean it, and I was like, ‘I love you.’ The fact that you acknowledged it. It’s not like you f–ked Billy. Like, I can move on. I knew that she was sorry, and I love Rosie for that.”

As for where Alicia and Rosie stand today, the former updated viewers, revealing, “She’s a good friend right now.”

As the two continue in their friendship, find out what else is ahead for Alicia, Rosie, and their castmates on RHORI Season 1.
