Brittany Cartwright spilled shocking new details of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Brandon Hanson during The Valley Season 3 Reunion Part 1—including how much money she gave him while they were a couple.
“Oh my god, I don’t even want to say. It’s so embarrassing,” she admitted as she was questioned by reunion host Andy Cohen during The Valley’s August 5 episode. When Andy inquired, “Five grand?” Brittany begrudgingly answered, “More.” When Andy asked, “Ten grand?” Brittany admitted, “Around.”
Her Valley castmates were left flabbergasted, as Lala Kent repeated, “Ten thousand dollars?” Brittany then revealed: “It might have been less than ten, but it was more than five.”
The mom of one previously confessed earlier in the season that she’d given Brandon money while she recovered from her mommy makeover surgery. “And since he had taken off work — which I cannot believe I did this — but he asked if I could give him some money,” she admitted during Episode 10. “I was like, ‘You know what? You’re gonna come and take care of me, so I don’t care to give you some money.'”
She later detailed, “He bought me flowers with the money I gave him. The icks are piling on.”
Although Brittany and Brandon ended their relationship in October 2025, Brittany admitted during the August 5 episode that she’d recently spoken to Brandon.
“The last episode that he was on, he was texting me,” she shared at the reunion.
Brittany Cartwright details how she’s changing her approach to dating after ex Brandon Hanson
Brittany began dating Brandon in the fall of 2025, as she was in the middle of her contentious divorce from Jax Taylor. Her friends, in particular Zack Wickham, voiced concerns that her decision-making when it comes to dating might be flawed.
“Zack said that you are susceptible to being ‘love bombed,’” Andy pointed out to Brittany during Part 1 of the Reunion. “Do you worry that your ‘picker’ is off?”

“Oh yeah. Like, there is not a doubt in my mind,” Brittany conceded, but then shared how she’s working to change that in future relationships. “You guys will be proud of me. I’ve been talking with like a narcissistic abuse coach. So I feel like that’s really gonna help me,” she explained.
Brittany concluded, “I see the best in everybody. And what sucks is, like, I don’t really want to change that about myself, but I have to set bigger boundaries.”
The Valley cast reflects on Brittany Cartwright’s relationship with ex Brandon Hanson
The cast of The Valley Season 3 may disagree on a lot, but they were unanimous on one topic during Part 1 of the Reunion: a belief that Brittany moved “too fast” in her relationship with ex Brandon.
“I just didn’t like him,” Michelle Saniei commented, and Jesse Lally agreed, adding, “She can do whatever she wants, I just didn’t like him.”
Tom Schwartz shared his side commentary with Jasmine Goode. “He was charming at first, but the more I learned about him, I was like, ‘No!’” he observed.

Zack was vocal during Episode 3 of the season that Brittany may have been “colorblind” to Brandon’s “red flags,” and Andy questioned him on his views during the August 5 episode.
“She is in such a fragile state,” Zack explained of why he believed Brittany ignored the red flags.
Zack then admitted that he still doesn’t believe Brittany is fully healed from her marriage to Jax. “I know she’s over Jax, yes. Is she over that situation, that trauma and that hurt? Absolutely not,” he commented.
