While castmate Kyle Richards insisted during Part 2 of the RHOBH reunion that she was not worried about a financial dispute with Mauricio Umansky, in the event that they should decide to file for divorce, Sutton warned her, “Money changes things.” Regardless, Kyle maintained that, despite her and Mau not having a prenuptial agreement, half of his real estate company, The Agency, belonged to her.

“But Sutton didn’t get half,” Kathy Hilton chimed in, prompting Sutton to clarify, “Well, I got half the assets.”

That’s when host Andy Cohen asked Sutton, “Personal question: Have the monthly payments gone down?” The mother of three replied, “Well, I don’t get child support anymore. … But I get my spousal support.”

A flashback to 2024 reminded viewers that Sutton had previously divulged that she was receiving $300,000 in monthly alimony payments from her ex. Back on the Season 15 reunion stage, she underscored the fact that that amount “didn’t include my child support,” however.

When she further explained that “you don’t pay taxes” on child support, both Rachel Zoe and Erika Jayne joked about wanting to “marry and divorce” Christian. In response, Sutton quipped, “I’ve already said I’ll take a finder’s fee.”

Inside Sutton Stracke’s relationship with ex-husband Christian Stracke today

Earlier on RHOBH Season 15, Sutton revealed that Christian is dating her former friend. What’s more, their two boys, James and Philip Stracke, also happened to be longtime “best friends” with the unnamed woman’s son.

“I think the biggest betrayal was that neither one of them told me about the relationship,” she said during Episode 11. “I had to hear it from my son.”

Even so, Sutton and Christian were eventually able to regain their amicable dynamic. On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, she said that they’d even spent some time together in Georgia during the 2025 holiday season. Because Christian also happened to be in Augusta at the time, he “came by the house” for a visit, and, later, attended a Christmas breakfast at Sutton’s brother’s home.

Christian’s significant other was not part of the celebrations, however, and Sutton noted that she has continued to maintain “boundaries” with her former friend. When the family, which also includes daughter Porter Stracke, recently dropped off James at college in South Carolina, for example, she ensured that her ex’s new girlfriend would not be joining them on the trip. “I couldn’t have taken that,” Sutton admitted.

After all, as Sutton pointed out, she and Christian had known each other since she was 13 years old. They also “had to work very hard” to get to the point where she could “do family stuff with him” again. And even though she isn’t exactly pining for the romance they once shared, she confessed that she does miss their family dynamic.

“It’s really about the children. I think, more than anything,” Sutton elaborated on the After Show. “It’s like you want that unit back.”

Sutton Stracke’s annulment from Christian Stracke, explained

As for why Christian had asked for an annulment from the Catholic Church, an entire decade after they finalized their divorce. Sutton previously unpacked her ex’s thought process in an exclusive interview with BravoTV.com.

“The reason that he gave me was that he thought it would make us better friends,” Sutton explained. “I thought that was a very interesting reason.”

Regardless of her complicated feelings on the matter, Sutton offered even more intel on her and Christian’s “good” dynamic during the chat.

“He lives in London, so I don’t see him on the regular,” she shared, before reflecting on James’ aforementioned college drop-off. “We spent that weekend together, and we had a really great time. Even after we got him to his dorm, we had drinks by ourselves, just to kind of talk about the future of our children and what we’re gonna do there.”

As Sutton concluded, “We’re still very much intertwined and always will be. I think we finally made it to the friendship part of divorce.”

In the meantime, don’t miss Sutton’s latest update on changing her last name from Stracke to Brown.
