A doorbell camera appears to have recorded missing Texas college student Caleb Harris on the night he was last seen three weeks ago, 3NEWS reports.
Ring camera video obtained by the television station shows Harris in his Corpus Christi apartment complex parking lot around 1 a.m. March 4, where he was with a roommate and another friend while playing with a dog outside.
Harris’ face can be seen in the recording looking toward the camera before the group moves in the other direction at The Cottages apartments in the 1900 block of Ennis Joslin.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, the 21-year-old Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi student sent a Snapchat to his sister about two hours later and is believed to have gone outside to get an Uber food order shortly after. The food order was delivered at 3:20 a.m. but Harris was nowhere to be found.
Harris reportedly sent a Snapchat to a friend at a bridge near the apartment complex around 3:03 a.m. After Harris did not return back to his unit, his roommates called police.
At the time Harris disappeared, he was wearing teal pants and a white shirt. He is described as 5-foot-11 and around 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Harris’ parents on Thursday announced a $25,000 reward for information that leads to his safe return. To be eligible for that reward, tipsters must share what they know by March 31.
To report information about Harris or his location, call the Corpus Christi Police Department at 361-886-2840 or 361-886-2600. Tipsters can also contact university police at 361-825-4444.
