Dorinda’s property has been part of her family history for decades (more on that down below), but now someone else will get to own part of the property where Dorinda “made it nice.”

Dorinda spoke with PEOPLE in an interview published on July 29, where she revealed that she is just selling a 3.7-acre parcel of land from her nearly 20-acre property for over $1 million dollars, which will allow the buyer to build their own home on it. This parcel of land comes with its own private entrance and access road and is located just minutes away from downtown Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum explained her decision to sell part of the property to the publication, noting that she doesn’t even use all of the land connected to the property. “I don’t use the land like they did when the home was first built. It isn’t necessarily for the property anymore,” she admitted. “I hope whomever buys it builds a historical home here. Something that really fits into the spirit of this special, special place.”

Dorinda has listed the 3.7-acre parcel of land on her Bluestone Manor property for $1.2 million, according to the publication.

Where is Bluestone Manor located?

Bluestone Manor is located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. According to the publication, the parcel of land has views of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York from all sides.

Details on Dorinda Medley and Bluestone Manor’s appearance on RHUGT: Roaring 20th

Bluestone Manor will make its big return to Bravo during RHUG: Roaring 20th. The core cast members, comprised of seven different cast members across the Housewives franchises, will be embarking on a road trip to visit different Housewives locations and familiar Housewives across the nation, before ending at a party located at Bluestone Manor.

In the trailer for the season, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island‘s Rosie DiMare and Kelsey Swanson can be seen getting into it at the estate, before Dorinda asks the women to step outside. “You can go outside to the driveway to do that,” she said.

How did Dorinda Medley come to own Bluestone Manor?

Bluestone Manor was built with the help of Dorinda’s great-grandfather and grandfather. But she didn’t come to own it until her late husband, Richard Medley, purchased the property for her.

Dorinda explained her history with the property in an October 2019 interview with Saratoga Living. “So my great-grandfather came to America from Italy as a very accomplished mason. Back then, Great Barrington was sectored and the Italian quarter was where all the masons lived. My great-grandfather had his own mason business, and when physicist William Stanley came up and had this beautiful home built by Stanford White, all his men did the stonework,” she explained. “They called it ‘Bluestone Manor’ because the stone was taken from the grounds. My great-grandfather worked on it, my grandfather worked on it. So, the house had a lot of history for me.”

Dorinda Medley’s home Bluestone Manor’s appearances on RHONY

Bluestone Manor made its big debut on Bravo when Dorinda joined the cast of RHONY Season 7. She continued to bring the cast members to the home over the seasons, up until her departure from RHONY Season 12. Bluestone Manor became the location for some very memorable moments throughout RHONY, including but not limited to fights in the manor’s foyer, unforgettable meals, wild parties, and Luann de Lesseps declaring that she didn’t want to be put in the “fish room,” Dorinda’s fish-themed bedroom located on the property.
