FEMALE SERIAL KILLER EMERGES IN OHIO, Meets Men for Sex, Then MURDER, Say Cops – Crime Online

An Ohio woman previously charged with giving a man a fatal overdose of drugs and robbing him has now been charged with doing the same thing to four other men, one of whom survived.

Rebecca Auborn, 33, is accused of meeting the men for sex and drugging them with the intent of robbing them. She was initially arrested in August for the January 15 death of Joseph Crumpler, 30, WCMH reported. But a joint investigation by homicide detectives from the Columbus Division of Police and special agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) led to an indictment on Friday by a Franklin County grand jury, the office of the state Attorney General said.

Auborn is now charged with four counts of murder, four counts of involuntary manslaughter, five counts of aggravated robbery, five counts of felonious assault, five counts of corrupting another with drugs, one count of tampering with evidence, and four counts of trafficking in drugs.

The victims include fatal overdoses on January 15, April 1, April 13, and June 17, and an “attempted overdose” on December 13, 2022.

Local and national media ascribed the phrase “serial killings” to the murders. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost cautioned against buying sex in Ohio, both to avoid being involved in human trafficking and because “you take your life into your own hands.”

Investigators believe there may be more victims and ask anyone with information to contact them at 614-645-2228.
