Georgia babysitter Abby Elizabeth Chosewood – It is unthinkable

The authorities faced challenges in gathering evidence against Chosewood due to the lack of nanny cameras to record the incident. This resulted in several months passing before they were able to build a case against her. Not much is known about the accused’s life and whereabouts.

Lt Kevin Holbrook told WSB-TV, “It is unthinkable and there is nothing for us to go on exactly why this did happen. This is something that we may never know — as when the child obviously is too young to tell us the truth. But obviously, Chosewood knows exactly what happened and hopefully it’ll come out in court.”

Following the investigation into the incident, Chosewood was booked into the Hall County Jail. However, she was released on a bond on July 31, as reported by WSB-TV.

Information on the incident is limited to protect privacy

According to reports, Chosewood was also detained earlier. She entered a guilty plea to three counts in 2021, including fraud involving an identity and money transfers. She thus received a two-year probationary term for those charges.

The Gainesville Police Department is tenaciously pursuing the case and conducting a thorough investigation. No new information about the ongoing inquiry has been made public as of yet.

Updates may be restricted due to the sensitivity and gravity of the situation in order to preserve the objectivity of the inquiry and respect the privacy of people concerned. As the case develops and additional details become available, police enforcement will probably offer further information.
