When In The City premieres on Bravo this spring, Amanda Batula‘s relationship with West Wilson will be addressed. Amanda is a cast member on the debut season of the series, and West, who is not a cast member in the new show, makes a cameo in the trailer for In The City Season 1, which premieres on Bravo on May 19. Now, viewers are learning more about how their relationship will be addressed after cameras were picked back up.
Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo and Peacock unscripted, spoke with The Ankler on the matter, saying, “In the City, which launches in a couple weeks, you’ll see in the first episode, we have a new scene that we shot with a couple of the cast members. So, we did pick it up there, but we just didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do on Summer House.”
Following speculation about their relationship, Amanda and West confirmed their “connection” in a joint statement on March 31, as Season 10 of Summer House has been airing. The Summer House Season 10 reunion was filmed on March 23 in NYC. In her conversation with The Ankler (via Us Weekly), Berwick went on to add, “It does come back to the emotional well-being of the cast members, and we didn’t think that was right. We did take a beat before we covered that. And that was obviously in the reunion last week; as everyone now knows, we taped the reunion last week.”

Details on the Summer House Season 10 reunion taping in NYC
As Berwick mentioned, the Summer House season 10 reunion was recently filmed earlier this month in New York City, less than a month after Amanda and West went public with their relationship. Reunion host Andy Cohen opened up about the taping as he was leaving the studio after it wrapped.

“I am walking out of the Summer House reunion. I probably hosted, well, it’s over 100 reunions, maybe 150, something like that. This was one of the most intense reunions we’ve ever shot,” he explained at the time. “This was a lot. This was a lot. It was very intense, you guys…Every question was asked. Every question was asked.”
