Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga are so proud of their “baby” boy, Joey Gorga, who just turned 16 years old. The Real Housewives of New Jersey parents have three children, with Joey being the youngest of them all.
Melissa took to Instagram on  Joey’s birthday on Monday, April 27, where she posted the sweetest tribute to him. The mom of three posted a photo of her, Joe, Joey, and their son, Gino Gorga, at Joey’s birthday dinner, before capturing a video of them singing “Happy Birthday” to him in the restaurant. She also posted so many sweet throwback moments of a much younger Joey dancing on a boat, taking a selfie, smiling in his football gear, walking down a runway, singing karaoke, and wearing so many cute costumes.
“My baby: Giuseppe Marco Gorga. The apple of my eye,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Lights up the room with that smile — to know me is to know he’s my [world]. Happy Sweet 16, my angel. You’ll always be my baby.”
Joey then took to the comments of the post where he returned the appreciation to Melissa. “Thank you mom,” he wrote.

Joe also took to Instagram on April 27, where he admitted that Joey is following in his footsteps, and not because they share the same name. The New Jersey native posted a hilarious throwback photo of him holding a baby Joey on his lap while they wore matching powder blue tracksuits, and a current video of Joey bench pressing weight.
“My baby boy is 16. He’s definitely taking after his daddy,” Joey wrote in the caption of the post. “Little beast- just getting started!”

Melissa Gorga opens up about her sons Joey and Gino Gorga’s lives in high school
Melissa spoke with The Daily Dish on Oct. 23, where she revealed that she has been loving having both Joey and Gino in high school together. Gino is currently a high school senior, while Joey is a high school sophomore. They also play on the same football team together.
“I’m having the most amazing football season because I get one year only that both of my sons are on the same team because I have a sophomore and a senior, and my sophomore plays varsity,” she explained at the time. “I am like a proud mom…so it’s my year to watch football.”
