On Wednesday, Ohio investigators discovered a head and other body parts not far from where an unidentified torso was found in November.
WCPO reported that officials have not determined whether the head found belongs to a woman whose naked torso was recovered from a treeline in Cincinnati on November 5. Hamilton County Coroner Lakshmi Sammarco previously said it is believed the woman was dismembered after she died, and her death occurred days before a passerby discovered her torso.
According to WXIX, the coroner believes the deceased woman is a Black woman in her 20s or 30s. She may have been pregnant three years ago, but it is unclear whether she gave birth.
Though officials have dismissed rumors of a serial killer, they have not yet determined whether the body parts discovered on Wednesday are from a different victim.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Cincinnati Police Department or the coroner’s office at 513-946-8700.
