Charley Manley hard-launched her new relationship with Republic VIP host Justin Assad during Part 2 of the Southern Charm Season 11 reunion in March, and now on Southern Hospitality Season 4, Justin is spilling all the details of the couple’s first date.
“We fell in love in a hopeless place: Instagram DMs,” he joked during Episode 8. “We grabbed drinks over the weekend, and we had a pretty f–king amazing date.”
“I lied to her about locking myself out of my apartment, so we had a cheeky little sleepover,” he told producers during the April 22 episode. “We haven’t separated too much since.”
The new couple made their debut at Joe Bradley’s emo-themed 30th birthday party, where Charley pointed out, “I’ve known you for two days.” Although Justin admitted their quick courtship had been “crazy,” he added, “It’s been refreshing. Your company’s been refreshing, and I enjoy it.”

Earlier in the season, Justin was involved in a love triangle with Mia Alario and Republic bartender Jordyn Smith. It caused some drama in the group, especially with Lake Rucker, who defended Jordyn.
“Those f—king girls, like, they’re ridiculous. It’s so middle school. It’s insane,” Mia recalled during the April 22 episode.
To producers, Mia made it clear she was finished dating Justin. “I’m done with it. I’m over it,” she declared. “At this point, I don’t need all this drama. I got other things to focus on. I got athlete DMs to answer back.”
Justin was bummed, too. “I’m actually really disappointed that I’m back in the friend zone with Mia,” he told producers. “It would have been nice to see where things kinda panned out… before the peanut gallery got its nasty, nutty little hands all over it.”

Still, there was a silver lining. “The Jordyn situation has been nothing short of abysmal,” he confessed. “And at this point, me and Mia are just friends. With that being said, the boy’s a free agent now, and I really like Charley.”

The couple is still going strong today, with Justin making an appearance in Charley’s April 8 Instagram post and commenting, “My whole heart.”
During TJ’s March 25 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he also revealed that Charley and Justin are “in love.”
Despite her history with Justin, Mia recently told BravoTV.com that she’s supportive of Charley and Justin and called the couple “very cute” and “super sexy.”
TJ and Bradley Carter also told BravoTV.com they’re fans of Charley and Justin together. “We love it; we’re all in support,” TJ shared. “Charley has a really good personality. She and Justin have really good banter, really light-hearted.”

Brad chimed in, “Yes, they’re a really lovely couple together. It’s like a yin-yang situation because they’re really well balanced.”
