On 22 February 2023, there was a shooting in Orlando, Florida. Authorities and the TV station confirmed that three were killed during the incident, and two more people were injured.
The gunman has been arrested and charged (with only one murder). Sheriff John Mina of Orange County claims that at about 4:05 pm, deputies received reports of two shootings.

Orlando Shooting:Â Nathacha Augustin, Dylan Lyons And A Girl Were Shot And Killed
The Orlando shooting victims are 38-year-old Nathacha Augustin, a 9-year-old girl, and 24-year-old Dylan Lyons (News 13 news reporter).
Deputies had been looking into a different homicide case on the day when one of the shootings took place on Hialeah Street.
Before 11 am, a woman – later identified as Nathacha Augustin, was shot and killed. The suspect’s behavior before he reportedly started shooting was described in an affidavit.
Deputies discovered two Spectrum News 13 staff at the site. One of them – Dylan Lyons – passed away, whereas another one was in critical condition.
According to deputies, the suspect shot the television team before going to a House nearby on Harrington Street and shooting a 9-year-old girl, T’yonna Major, who died on the spot.
The little girl was outgoing and enjoyed gymnastics, according to a GoFundMe website. Her mother, who was also shot, is in critical condition and getting treatment at a hospital.
Orlando Shooting Suspect Arrested
During a press conference, Sheriff John Mina of Orange County announced that Keith Melvin Moses had been taken into custody concerning the shootings.
On Thursday, Mina briefly explained the time between the shooting on Harrington Street and the suspect’s capture.
He said his Glock handgun was still hot when they arrested Keith, and no more rounds were inside. According to deputies, all homicides were committed using the same weapon.
According to Mina, several nearby witnesses identified Moses as the shooter, and video footage showed him at the site. The 19-year-old allegedly clashed with medical workers after telling officers he was hurt when they held him.
The suspect was then brought to the sheriff’s office. Moses allegedly appeared to be sleeping during the questioning before deputies had to subdue him forcibly.
When asked if the suspect had a mental health episode, Mina responded that the suspect might have been drinking because deputies had noticed his eyes were dilated.
Moses is a well-known gang member. But the shooting was said to be unrelated to the gang. The motive of the shooter for any of the killings remains unknown.
As of this writing, the only charge against Moses, according to Mina, is first-degree murder in Augustin’s death. For the killings of Lyons and Major, more accusations are anticipated.
Keith Melvin Moses Criminal History
A long list of Keith Melvin Moses’ criminal history includes assault, grand theft, and aggravated battery.
Keith was charged and arrested with misdemeanor drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia in November 2021. However, those charges were dropped sometime later.
The more severe crimes appeared to have occurred when the Orlando shooting suspect was a juvenile. But the further details and records are not publicly available.
Although Keith is only charged in the murder of Augustin for now, law enforcement expects other charges at any moment.
