Pennsy Man Wanted for Murder of Wife, Considered to Be ‘Dangerous Person,’ Cops Say – Crime Online

Pennsylvania police are searching for a Lancaster County man after his wife was found dead  in their home.

Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said they considered the death of 49-year-old Jami A. Harrison suspicious when her body was found in Penn Township on Monday. On Wednesday, they said, autopsy results “confirmed that the manner of death was homicide by strangulation.”

Investigators said Harrison’s husband, 48-year-old Matthew Harrison, was wanted for questioning and “is currently considered to be a dangerous person.” He may be driving a black 2017 Chevy Silverado pickup truck with Pennsylvania tags ZND7298.

Online court documents say a warrant has been issued for Matthew Harrison’s arrest, charging him with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, strangulation, aggravated indecent assault without consent, and two counts of aggravated indecent assault-forcible compulsion, WPMT reported.

Matthew Harrison is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 170 pounds with hazel eyes. He has ties to York and Lancaster Counties, police said.

Police asked anyone who sees Harrison or his truck to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information should call NLCRPD at (717)733-0965 or Lancaster County Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-1913.
