Southern Charm‘s Shep Rose is ready to tell all. And he’s confirmed that he mentions his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green, in his new book. The exes are now on good terms following Taylor’s breakup from her ex-boyfriend, Gaston Rojas, and Taylor is supporting Shep’s latest career move in a major way.
Taylor took to her Instagram Story following the release of Shep’s newest book, Nothing in Moderation: A Psychedelic Reckoning With Excess, where she revealed that she was reading a copy of the memoir. Taylor snapped a photo of the book cover with Shep’s face on as it sat on a lounge chair outside. She also shared that Shep had actually signed her copy. “Got my summer read…and it’s signed by THE [Shep],” she wrote over the photo.
Shep reposted the photo to his own Instagram Story, teasing the contents from the book. “Thanks [Taylor Ann Green],” he wrote over it. “Your name def[initely] appears in the book. In a nice way, I swear.”
Taylor also supported Shep’s book release by leaving him a sweet comment on an Instagram post. Shep took to Instagram on June 12, where he posted a video talking about how he was selling signed copies of his book. Taylor then took to the comments where she left three clapping emojis.

Shep had previously spoken with The Daily Dish in December 2025, where he opened up about his new book, which comes after the release of his 2021 memoir, Average Expectations: Lessons in Lowering the Bar. “I wrote a book. It’s being edited, and it’ll come out this spring,” he explained, noting that it’s about “going to do ayahuasca.”
According to the publisher, in the book, “Shep chronicles his journey with vivid detail and his signature humor. From his first ceremony, where he saw himself as the pole of an amusement park ride that could send everyone flying if he wasn’t stable, to the profound night when he witnessed ‘the machine’ and underwent spiritual heart surgery, each experience pulled back another layer of self-deception and forced him to confront uncomfortable truths.”

Shep Rose gives a new look into his friendship with Taylor Ann Green
Shep and Taylor have continued to support each other following her split with Gaston. Earlier this month, Shep took to his Instagram Story, where he revealed that he was hanging out with Taylor and her parents on Sullivan’s Island to celebrate her late brother, Richard Worthington “Worth” Green, on the anniversary of his passing.
“Some of the finest people I’ve ever known,” Shep wrote over the photo. “On the anniversary of the fellow rapscallion Worth’s passing. Lots of memories and laughter.”
