New York, New York – It’s been a whirlwind few months for former Summer House castmates West Wilson and Amanda Batula. But now that the smoke has settled following the reunion (for now), are the friendship-ruining lovebirds still an item? Let’s dive in.
Anyone can make their life seem a certain way in an Instagram carousel post. Take Summer House star and Complex producer West Wilson, for example.
Ciara Miller’s former flame shared quite the dump over the weekend featuring a series of snaps highlighting his life as of late. Buried five photos deep in his Instagram post is one snap of West and Amanda, looking stylish as ever, we must admit (apologies to Amanda’s ex-husband, Kyle Cook).
However, it’s hard to ignore the post’s balance or lack thereof, as most of the photos are of West with his boys, which is pretty on brand for the journalist-turned-TV star.
Amanda, on the other hand, hasn’t posted on her grid since a few days before she and West went public with their relationship, sending shockwaves across the Bravo-verse, Hollywood, and social media. Though the swimwear designer sometimes posts on her IG stories, she hasn’t posted within the last 24 hours at the time of writing.
Based on West’s posts and what viewers heard Amanda say during the In The City reunion on July 21 – such as setting the record straight about the picture of her seemingly spitting in West’s mouth (she spat an olive in his mouth, not actual spit, she said) – it appears the two are still an item.
But who knows – crazier things have happened in reality TV-born relationships.
West and Amanda could simply be playing it safe, continuing to post photos of each other to avoid the backlash that would likely follow a breakup announcement.
Ultimately, time will tell. But one thing’s for sure: Fans won’t be seeing Amanda or West on Season 11 of Summer House.
