A Texas father was arrested Friday after his 6-year-old child was found dead of a gunshot wounded in their home.
Pearland Police said Da Leon Jarun Fontennet, 27, has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. No charges related to the child’s death have been filed, but police said they were still investigating.
Police said they were called to the home in Pearland just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday and found the child dead.
