Texas Man Stabs Woman in Neck, Tries to Kidnap Her and Escape to Mexico: Police – Crime Online

A Texas man is accused of stabbing a woman in the neck and then trying to kidnap her to Mexico, where she believed he would kill her, KBTX-TV reports.

Around 11 a.m. Friday, police in College Station got a call from a father in the Dallas-Fort Worth region who said he had received disturbing text messages from his daughter asking him to call police for help.

Officers tracked the woman’s phone to a CVS in College Station, where they found the woman and her captor, 21-year-old Francisco Celis.

The victim’s neck and hand were injured, prompting her to be hospitalized.

The woman allegedly told police that Celis strangled her, used a pair of scissors to stab her in the neck and then threatened to kill her if she screamed.

Celis allegedly forced the victim into his vehicle so they could go to Mexico, where she felt that he would murder her.

Investigators found bloody scissors in Celis’ vehicle. Insider the victim’s residence, police found blood stains and evidence of a struggle. A handwritten goodbye or suicide note was also found that the woman said she was forced to write.

Celis, of Forth Worth, and the woman had been in a relationship for about one year and three months, most of it on a long-distance basis. He allegedly admitted to stabbing the victim and then brought her to the CVS so she could get a bandage for her injury.

Authorities have detained Celis in the Brazos County Detention Center on an $800,000 bond for charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated kidnapping with intent to inflict bodily injury, according to records reviewed by CrimeOnline.
