When you gotta go, you gotta go—at least that’s Janet Caperna’s motto. It was her reasoning behind urinating in a cup on the way home from a nightclub, while the cast of The Valley Season 3 was packed together in a bus in Mexico during Episode 14. But as a producer for The Valley After Show brought up the incident with her husband, Jason Caperna, it turned out to be new information to him.
“I actually don’t know this. She’s never told me this,” he revealed, and sighed, “Oh, Janet.” Jason was absent from the trip due to a knee injury he suffered while playing basketball during The Valley’s May 20 episode.
The cup suggestion actually came from Jasmine Goode during the July 1 episode, who also offered to “hide” Janet during her clandestine elimination. Lala Kent, who watched the whole thing go down, commented, “All I’m thinking is, one bump—“ she said, as she motioned backwards, then added, “Janet’s pee all over Nia [Sanchez Booko].”
Michelle Saniei had the same thought. “I think I was near you, and I’m like, ‘I’m not gonna look at this girl,’” she recalled on the After Show. “I’m like, ‘What if there’s a bump and then it like goes somewhere?’”
However, Tom Schwartz commented that Jason should be “proud” of his wife. “The fact that you’re able to pee in a cup and not spill at all in a moving [vehicle]?” he pointed out.
Janet admitted peeing in a cup was actually not an uncommon occurrence for her. “I used to keep a Gatorade bottle in my car because, L.A. traffic. You need the big [bottle] mouth,” she shared during the After Show. “You go like—“ as she made a popping noise, she explained, “Nice suction. Just let it go.”
She added that it had become a bigger necessity for her in recent years, after the birth of her son Cameron in December 2023. “After you have a baby, holding it in does not work as well,” she detailed.
Jason Caperna weighs in on learning new information about Janet during The Valley After Show
The Valley After Show producers reminded Jason that Janet’s bus escapades were not the first new information he’d discovered about her during the After Show filmings.
“Janet seems to keep it interesting, and you learn something new about her every day,” a producer broke the fourth wall to inform him. Jason agreed, and admitted, “I mean, I just learned this new thing about her today.”
During a flashback, a producer notified Jason, “Janet let everyone know that she has a new skin tag on her gooch,” causing an exasperated laugh from Jason.

Another flashback included Jason finding out about a conversation between Janet and Zack Wickam during The Valley’s June 17 episode. “When I’m not with Jason, he’s like, ‘I don’t care if you hook up with girls,’” Janet confided in Zack, hinting that they were in an “open relationship.”
However, Jason clarified during the After Show, “That’s definitely not true.” He explained that if Janet were to casually make out with Lala, as an example, he’d be okay with that. But other situations would cross the line. “If she were like, ‘Oh, I’ve been going out on a couple dates with this woman,’ I’d be like, ‘No, you’re not going on dates with this woman,’” he added. “Yeah, ’cause, like, I could just as easily lose her to a woman as to a man.”
He concluded, “I don’t think she gets exactly what I meant.”
Zack Wickham reveals unseen details concerning Janet’s cup moment
During The Valley After Show, Zack shared more unseen details of Janet’s cup adventures, including what happened after the group left the party bus.
“When we were walking back to the hotel, she had already thrown out the pee out of the cup,” he detailed. “We’re walking in. She turns around. Jasmine’s there, and kicks the cup. The cup flies into Janet’s face, and her pee gets on her.”

Janet, however, was unfazed by this moment. “If my pee is going to go on someone, I rather it go on me then anybody else,” she admitted on the After Show. “Like, I’m fine with my own pee on me. I don’t want other people’s pee on me.”
