The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Gizelle Bryant and actress Angelina Jolie just celebrated “mother-daughter magic” alongside their daughters. Gizelle’s daughter, Angel Bryant, is a member of the sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, at Spelman College, and is giving a look at her college life today.
Both Gizelle and Angelina visited Spelman over the weekend, where they attended a mother-daughter brunch hosted by the Pearls of Purpose Foundation and the Nu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., according to PEOPLE. The proud mothers were there in Atlanta to support their daughters, who are both members of the sorority.
Gizelle took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she posted a photo of herself smiling alongside Angel while they both wore light pink fascinators and smiled for the camera. She then posted a group shot of some of the moms, including Angelina, as they posed alongside their daughters, which included Angelina’s daughter, Zahara, who is the vice president of the Mu Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha at Spelman, according to PEOPLE. The sorority members looked so happy to be there in their light pink dresses alongside their mothers.
“Mother Daughter Magic,” Gizelle wrote over the group photo.

Gizelle Bryant reflects on her time as an Alpha Kappa Alpha at Hampton University
Gizelle was an Alpha Kappa Alpha when she attended Hampton University. The mom of three went back to Hampton University (where her daughter, Adore Bryant, currently attends) in October, where she attended Homecoming and reunited with her sorority sisters. “Celebrating 35 YEARS of [AKA Sorority],” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. “Come through [Gamma Theta chapter], love my line sisters.”
Gizelle appeared on The Breakfast Club in 2022, where she opened up about how her late father, Curtis Graves, inspired her to attend Hampton. “My dad went to a Black college, and he was nudging me in that direction. I didn’t know it, but he was,” she explained during the episode. “My dad was very influential in the Civil Rights movement. He’s all about empowering the Black community and doing what’s best for us. But when I got to [HU], that’s when I figured out where I was supposed to be.”
