Missing 2-Year-Old Ares Muse Was Found Deceased In Okfuskee County

Take a tour into the ‘Missing 2-Year-Old Ares Muse Was Found Deceased In Okfuskee County’ OKEMAH Police say a 2-year-old boy who had been missing in Okfuskee County since early Monday was discovered dead later that day.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Ares Muse was last seen around 1:30 a.m. Monday near state Highway 56 and East 1100 Road in Okemah. He was allegedly wearing black footie pajamas with orange and green dinosaurs, according to law enforcement officials.

 

In addition to more than 20 additional tribe, state, and federal agencies helping with the search, the Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police Department lead the investigation. Less than a mile from his house in the Okemah area, a spokeswoman said the search team discovered Muse dead around 6 p.m.

According to a spokeswoman for the Muscogee Nation, the reason of the boy’s death has not yet been determined by investigators.

Although we didn’t receive the results we desired, Muscogee Nation Principal Chief David Hall said in a statement that “we appreciate their effort and the prayers from all the people today.” We mourn alongside everyone who knew and cared about this youngster.
